Pierluigi Nodari holds directorships in AZ Investment SA and member of the Global Fixed Income committee responsible for decisions on asset allocation strategies across the Group’s mandates. He is primarily responsible for the top-down macro view and strategic allocation. He joined Azimut in 2015 as a member of the Board of Directors and Head of the Discretionary Mandates Team. Since 2020, Pierluigi has been based in the Luxembourg office to set up the Azimut Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) Team, in order to support the day-to-day management and the distribution of Azimut DPM products and services across all European and global regions.

Pierluigi is a graduate of the University of Bocconi in Italy. His previous roles include Head of Private & Premium Mandates at Credit Suisse and Head of Fixed Income for BNP Paribas Asset Management in Italy.

Stefano Varvello has been with the Azimut Group since 2016. He is the Head and Portfolio Manager for the Azimut Discretionary Team’s equity strategies and he has co-responsibility for the management of the DPM products range. From 2014 to 2016 Stefano worked at Deloitte as a Quantitative Risk Consultant and holds a Master’s degree in Mathematical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.

Simone Puccinelli has been with Azimut since 2014. From 2008-2014, Simone worked in Intesa San Paolo Luxembourg in Private Banking and joined the Discretionary Portfolio Management team in Azimut as Head of the Discretionary Mandates and Fixed Income Strategy. He is also responsible for the oversight of the discretionary mandate’s fund strategies and the Discretionary Portfolio Management operations in Florence.

After graduating with Masters in Mathematical Engineering from Politecnico Milano, Andrea Braccini joined Azimut as a Junior Portfolio Manager in 2019. He is currently overseeing Azimut’s benchmark product lines – managing the portfolio models and monitoring the exposures across all asset classes within the discretionary mandate universe.

Riccardo Lazzaro joined Azimut Investments in 2023 as a Portfolio Manager within the Discretionary Portfolio Management Team. He is involved in the management of portfolios, with a focus on equity and volatility products, and in the development of portfolio strategies driven by quantitative ideas and systematic insights. He holds an MSc degree in Economics from the University of Bologna and a BSc degree in Business Administration & Management from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.

Davide Mariano Carlucci joined Azimut in June 2024 as a Junior Portfolio Manager within the Discretionary Portfolio Management Team. He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in finance from the Universities of Florence and Bologna, as well as a master’s degree in quantitative finance from Politecnico di Milano. Before joining Azimut, Davide worked as a Rating Analyst at Crif Ratings. He focuses primarily on multi-asset strategies with an emphasis on Equity, Commodities and FX, covering research, management, and both discretionary and quantitative analysis.

Marina Tribuzio joined Azimut Investments SA in Luxembourg in 2025, after 2 years in the Audit & Assurance practice within Deloitte Luxembourg. She assists with the analysis of portfolio models and the operational processes for portfolio maintenance. Marina will be involved in the ESG alignment of Azimut Investment offerings to the latest policy standards. Marina holds a MSc degree in Management majoring in Corporate Finance from Bocconi University.
